Finding the Perfect Pendant

Aside from buying whatever pendant you like, it might not work in your favor. Similar to how some clothes look better on a hanger, it is the same for the pendant. Just because it looks nice doesn’t mean it will compliment your features. These are the things to consider when looking for the perfect pendant.

1. Your body type

When it comes to pendants, it usually works better with taller people. Those who are under 5’4 might struggle due to the fact that pendants may look overwhelming. Although if you are on the shorter side, it is best to find a pendant necklace that rests above your collarbone. That way, it won’t look too heavy on the body.

The good thing is the size of the pendant usually does not matter whether you are shorter or on the taller side. What you must be aware of is where the pendant rests.

2. The shape of your face

The shape of your face will impact the look of a pendant. Those who have a round face, it is best to look for a pendant necklace with a heavier charm. This will pull the chain down and create a v-effect. That will cause the illusion of slimming your face and not make your upper area look too cluttered.  Also, you should consider buying a shorter chain. Lucky for those with oval faces because you can wear any type of pendant.

3. Look at your neck

Those who have shorter necks should opt for longer pendant necklaces. These necklace chains should range from 20 to 24 inches. While those with longer necks can wear any length.
